The LPN/LVN provides nursing care to terminally ill patients, following the plan of care and state regulations.
- Administers bedside nursing care and evaluates patient/family needs.
- Performs treatments and medication administration under RN supervision.
- Monitors patient reactions and documents findings.
- Maintains a safe environment and assists in interdisciplinary care planning.
- Establishes therapeutic relationships and participates in patient/family education.
- Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, licensed, and have at least one year of nursing experience.
- Flexible schedule required, including on-call duties.
