Teacher/Head Football Coach
Minimum Qualifications:
SC certification in a secondary content area required with a strong GPA in relevant
coursework
Varsity Head Football Coaching experience of at least one year required
Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
Knowledge of instructional technology and its applications to teaching
Experience working with high school students preferred
Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies
Extensive knowledge of interscholastic athletic policies/regulations
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Proven winning record
Effective management and organization skills
Fosters the development of the student athlete in high school and support the academic
and athletic transition to the next level
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule
Length of Contract: 220 days
