What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Aide position at Rock Hill School District 3?
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Must be able to work 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 1:45 – 4:45 p.m.
Interest in and ability to work with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
Physical ability to lift up to 130 lbs.
Ability to maintain discipline with all age groups
Effective communication skills with school staff and students
Ability to clean bus/equipment as needed
Ability to perform simple child hygiene as needed
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Bus Aide Salary Scale
Length of Contract: 180 days/6 hours per day
Starting Date: 2023 - 2024 School Year
College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
