What are the responsibilities and job description for the Color Guard Director @ NWHS position at Rock Hill School District 3?
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college background preferred
Teaching certification preferred but not required
Previous Fall and winter teaching experience required
At least 2 years of successful experience in all aspects of administering a guard program preferred
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with high school students preferred
Knowledge of design, consultation, and auditions
Knowledge of effective instructional technique for beginners through advanced students
Knowledge of instructional technology and its applications to teaching
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Length of Contract: July 1st - March 31st (summer instruction)
Starting Date: 2022 -2023 School Year
