What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Rock Hill School District 3?
Minimum Qualifications:
SC certification as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain appropriate certification
College degree from an accredited program of speech pathology
Skilled in evaluation, planning and implementing services for eligible students
Work experience related to the care and development of children required
Experience with non-verbal and limited verbal communication preferred
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Supporter and advocate of the inclusion model for students
Knowledge of instruction and innovative teaching methods
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Speech Therapist Pay Schedule
Length of Contract: 190 days
Starting Date: 2025-2026 School Year
