What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher/SC/PreK position at Rock Hill School?
Minimum Qualifications :
SC certification in TMD, PMD, or other appropriate area required with a strong GPA in relevant course work
Experience with teaching special education students in a self-contained setting preferred
Enthusiasm for teaching disabled students
Exceptional knowledge of the needs of special students, especially young children
Supporter and advocate of the inclusion model for students
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range : Teacher Salary Schedule
Length of Contract : 190 days
Starting Date : 2024-2025 School Year
