Description
Position Summary:
This position involves the processing of Customers Own Material (COM).
Position Details:
- Receive COM tickets from the plant and process
- Identify fabrics to a specific order
- Check the identified fabrics to confirm if the yardage is correct
- Check the fabric for any needed special handling (backing etc.)
- Process Customers Own Material in SAP
- Determine and release all orders that are complete and ready to release
- Process and send out written communication to our customers and to outside Vendors
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Fabric, cutting, and sewing knowledge a plus
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication
- Learns quickly and independently
- Problem solving, investigative and brainstorming skills required
- Flexibility to multiple tasks
- Work directly with customers either by telephone or via e-mail
- Communication with Plant Supervisors and Customer Service
- SAP and Excel knowledge a plus
