Summary Job Description
This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.
Essential Duties
- Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture
- Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly
- Must be able to read and follow production tickets
- Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous upholstery experience a plus

- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
