Summary Job Description
This position is responsible to operate the Ripsaw to rip boards according to the worksheet for high end furniture.
Essential Duties
- Operate ripsaw to rip boards according to the worksheet.
- Adjust saw and feed rollers according to the thickness of the boards.
- Verify sizes using a tape measure.
- Count to determine when the specified quantity has been ripped.
- Replace saw blades and lubricate the machine.
- Follow direction given by lead or key person in the area.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous ripsaw operation experience a required
