What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position at Rock Medical Group?
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated MLT to join our team on 10 hour Day shift Monday through Friday. Approximately 90% Clinic/Outpatient and 10% Hospital. Relative to the laboratory, time is divided between phlebotomy, instrument start up and maintenance, running clinical specimens and cleaning/restocking. We send out reference testing.
Qualifications:
- MLS Skills needed: General lab, phlebotomy, arterial blood gas draw Please include CEU transcripts if available for ASCP Schedule
- 2 years of recent MLT experience
- Active ASCP. MLT or MLS
- AHA BLS
Shift information:
- Shifts range from 6am – 6pm. (6am – 4:30pm to 7:30 – 6pm); Saturday 6am – noon.
- Call: staff share on call from 6pm – 6am M-F and 24 hour call on weekends
