Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our Child Care team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging schedules that promote early childhood development and learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all infants.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure smooth transitions and maintain focus on learning objectives.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
- Ability to educate children in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones and appropriate teaching strategies.
- Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver for young children is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
