Laborer
Summary
Manually move stock, or other materials to perform other general labor duties. Includes supplying team member with the necessary materials or supplies to complete a job task. Install silk fencing, demo, digging, tree cutting, water removal. Other Job Duties as Assigned.
JOB TASK
Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment per instructed.
- Move materials, equipment, or supplies from one location to another.
- Signal machine operators who can help move material or supplies.
- Keep all other laborers supplied, tools, materials, etc.…
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, backfilling holes.
- Providing Aid to the team members at site.
- Prepared for next step process.
Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks > Trailers and return them after use.
- Move materials, equipment, or supplies.
- Assist experienced workers when needed. > Furthering your knowledge.
Shovel material, such as gravel, or spilled concrete, or dirt out of production area, when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Shovel materials.
- Pick up Materials
- Keep all work areas clean of debris as needed
- Carry out general site duties.
Rig or dismantle equipment, cables, straps, or mechanical hoist by hand and power tools of all types.
Tend to trash pumps, straw rolls, silk fencing, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment to move materials.
- Knowledge of tools properly needed for each job task.
- Maintain pumps or compressors and or packers.
- Maintain barricades, bracing, or other sub parts that are to be tended after.
- Set up >assist in material handling supplies or equipment, such as temporary structures.
- Any other Labor duties required or asked of.
- Some specialized task may require on the job training.
SKILLS / ABILITIES
Experience on and off commercial job sites.
