Rock’n Fish & brewco Manhattan Beach is hiring a joint Floor Supervisor!

Rock’n Fish restaurant, famous for its steaks, seafood, and spirits, has been a local’s favorite for over 20 years. Located on the Manhattan Beach pier at the ocean’s edge, Rock’n Fish features indoor and outdoor dining, with 150 seats and approximately 350-400 covers per day. Rock’n Fish is a breath of fresh air for guests and team members alike. Excellent food and unparalleled hospitality is our focus.

brewco social-a reimagination of Downtown Manhattan Beach’s iconic Manhattan Beach Brewing Company! Opened as a working brew pub in 1991 and renamed Brewco in 2010, Brewco closed its doors on January 31st and hassince reopened with a reimagined interior and elevated kitchen. brewco social has reclaimed its place as one of downtown Manhattan Beach's staples.

This position is for you if you have…

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a restaurant floor lead/supervisor/manager
• A sincere desire and ability to provide exceptional hospitality to guests and co-workers
• Depth of knowledge in food, beer, wine, spirits, service, and managing labor cost
• A positive attitude and leadership style ~ a knack for developing talent, and strong knowledge of CA wage & hour laws
• Strong work ethic AND the ability to disengage from work and enjoy life during time off
• Sense of urgency and superior time management and follow-up skills
• A strong sense of integrity ~ does the right thing even when no one is looking
• A desire to grow, learn, and get promoted to Restaurant Manager

What you will do:

• Responsible for overseeing all dining room operations during your shift, ensuring the highest level of excellence in service, hospitality and ambience
• Follow all California wage & hour laws
• Responsible for setting a tone of engagement, positivity, fun and focus for the entire Front of House staff
• Maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with the BOH
• Above all else, be the embodiment of gracious hospitality to employees and guests alike. Ensure that we retain top talent and that every guest leaves Rock’n Fish raving about his/her experience and excited to come back.
