Rock and Rescue is currently looking for Industrial Sewing Operator for our Cut & Sew department.
NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, WE TRAIN
JOB RESPONSIBILITY/SUMMARY:
Candidates for this position will operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture bags, pouches, slings, saddles, etc... for the work-at-height, life safety, rescue, arbor, and hunting markets.
The following skills and traits are critical for a candidate's success in the position:
- Ability to accurately measure product
- Sewing experience, a plus
- Ability to measure materials
- Good attention to detail
- Good hand-eye-foot coordination
- Review items for quality during production:
- Review items for missed stitches
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Perform repetitive sewing
Hourly Rate: From $15.00 - $16.00 based on experience
Qualifications
· Sewing experience desired – willing to train
· Manufacturing experience is a plus
· Must be able to sit for 8 hours
· Have the ability to lift and carry 20 lbs
· Stand for eight hours a day
· Great attention to detail
· Excellent organizational skills
