Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering outstanding service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, utilizing the Aloha POS system for efficient processing.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and assisting with overall restaurant cleanliness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a server role within a fine dining environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong upselling skills to enhance guest experience and boost sales.
• Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to providing exceptional service are essential for success in this role.
