Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing their orders and ensuring satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met by properly sanitizing work areas and adhering to health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining basic math skills for transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
