Training and Support Consultant (TSC)
Role Overview
The Training and Support Consultant (TSC) serves as the primary liaison between Rock N Roll Sushi (RnR) and franchise owners, ensuring their success through comprehensive training, operational support, and ongoing development. The TSC focuses on equipping franchisees with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive operational excellence, maintain brand integrity, and enhance overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and foster strong relationships with franchise owners and their management teams.
- Provide hands-on training and operational support in guest service, product quality, food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to assess compliance with brand standards and operational efficiency, offering guidance for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance franchisee knowledge in financial management, cost control, labor optimization, and marketing strategies.
- Serve as a resource for franchise owners to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement best practices.
- Communicate updates on company policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure franchisees receive the necessary support in training, marketing, and operational development.
- Track performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve franchisee profitability and operational standards.
- Ensure promotional campaigns, merchandising programs, and local store marketing initiatives are effectively executed.
- Provide expertise and direct support in opening new franchise locations, ensuring a smooth and efficient launch process.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in restaurant operations, or franchise consulting, with a focus on training and development.
- Experience in opening new franchise locations, including pre-opening setup, training, and operational execution.
- Ability to analyze P&L statements, calculate ROI, and implement cost control measures.
- Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and developing franchise teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in training facilitation, onboarding, and developing educational materials.
- High level of organization, adaptability, and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and related business software.
- Ability to travel extensively as needed with potential of two weeks at a time for new restaurant openings.
Qualifications
- Experience in franchise consulting, or training roles preferred.
- Experience in casual dining, franchising, or corporate restaurant operations preferred.
- Background in restaurant openings, training program development, or operational consulting highly desirable.
- Minimum five years restaurant leadership experience
- Valid driver’s license.
- Certification in Food Safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and move freely throughout restaurant locations.
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs. and using restaurant equipment as needed.
- Ability to travel regularly to franchise locations and meetings..
