Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately input orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and meet quality standards.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or nightclub setting.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; training will be provided for those new to the technology.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
