Retail Yard Assistant
Swenson Granite Works currently has an opening for an Assistant Yard in our retail store at our Concord, NH location. We are in the business of retail and contractor sales of granite and natural stone products used for masonry, landscaping, and building work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Loading and unloading materials using a forklift
· Assist customers in loading their vehicles
· Collaborate with Assistant Manager and Customer Support Associate to ensure the yard
· Managing inventory
· Follow the work standards, rules, methods, and procedures (quality, efficiency, and health & safety)
· Any other duties as may be assigned
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently required to walk the yard.
Lifting or moving up to 40lbs frequently and 50lbs on occasion.
Requirement:
· Forklift experience is required.
Working Conditions:
· Employment status: Permanent / Full-time.
· Starting pay rate $23.00, based on experience.
· Schedule: Monday to Friday and half day on Saturday seasonally.
