What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSR I (Driver) position at Rock Solid Shredding?
Rock Solid Shredding, an Arkansas owned and operated on-site paper shredding provider, is looking to expand its Customer Service Rep (CSR) team in Little Rock due to continued business growth.
This CSR I job posting is an entry-level CSR position; no experience with commercial driving or routing is necessary. We are also accepting applications with driving or route experience; please see our CSR II job posting for more information.
What is a Customer Service Rep (CSR)?
CSRs are the foundation of every on-site shredding business. Their responsibilities primarily include:
- Driving and operating mobile shredding trucks
- Securely collecting and shredding documents
- Communicating with customers both in-person and over-the-phone
- Coordinating with team members
- Making real-time service-related decisions while in the field
The CSR I is not expected to drive or operate our shred trucks immediately; rather, this position will begin as a collection assistant who actively learns the ropes of the on-site shredding business under the guidance of an experienced CSR, with the eventual goal of becoming a stand-alone CSR II capable of running routes alone.
Important Things to Consider Before Applying:
- This is a labor-intensive position that requires frequent walking and heavy lifting, day-in and day-out. A strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
- We service customers across the state of Arkansas and into bordering states such as Oklahoma and Missouri; a large portion of this job will be spent behind the wheel.
- Due to the highly sensitive nature of document destruction, as well as the driving responsibilities of CSRs, applicants will be subject to a pre-employment background check and pre- and post-employment drug screenings.
- We primarily operate from Monday through Friday, but CSRs may be required to work occasionally on Saturdays during the spring and fall seasons.
