What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indoor Program Counselor position at Rock Spot Climbing?
Job PurposeThe Indoor Program Counselor at Rock Spot Climbing is responsible for creating an awesome indoor experience for young climbers. They will monitor safety and create fun activities during our weekly indoor programs for youth at our facilities. All activities will be conducted under the direction of the Program Manager.Our team members are dynamic individuals who are on board with our Mission and Core Values, noted below.Roles and ResponsibilitiesFirst Class Customer Service - Maintain a safe, positive and productive learning atmosphere for a 10 week vacation season.High Quality Instruction - Teach hard skills as well as technique in a small group setting, while managing the flow of activities / learning day to day and week to week.Professional Communication - Interact regularly and professionally with participants and parents.Personalized Lesson Planning - Implement and monitor lesson plans and curriculum while adapting and modifying activities based on the needs of individual students.
