Rock Star Productions is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of touring theater shows. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking events, managing event operations, ensuring budgets are met, coordinating orders and staffing, and upholding brand standards and quality. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and a passion for delivering outstanding theatrical experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Booking:
- Identify and secure venues for touring productions, negotiating contracts and rental agreements.
- Collaborate with venue representatives to ensure all technical, logistical, and operational requirements are met.
- Manage schedules to optimize the touring calendar and maximize audience reach.
Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Track expenses, approve invoices, and provide financial reports post-event.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving while maintaining high production standards.
- Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for each event.
- Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Manage inventory and ensure all items meet safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the on-site execution of events, ensuring seamless performances and efficient workflows.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 21 required
