Rock Supremacy is a Heavy Civil Contractor specializing in Rockfall Mitigation, Soil Stabilization, and Tunnel Rehabilitation and Construction. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have an in depth understanding of drilling procedures, rockfall mitigation systems, means and methods of drilling at height in risky situations, and CREW SAFETY. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of construction processes. This role is 100% on the road.
Duties
- Supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Implement effective project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Maintain documentation related to contracts, change orders, and project specifications.
- Foster a collaborative team environment while supervising on-site personnel.
Requirements
- 5 Years of Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of drilling processes in challenging conditions, rope access work, equipment repair, maintenance, and welding.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong budgeting skills with a focus on cost control.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications effectively.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
