Athletic Trainer (ATC) Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our dynamic team in Southeast IA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Athletic Training services to assigned high school under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in regards to efficient and effective prevention, acute care, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injury.
- Assist athletes and families with entry into the healthcare system for medical treatment and rehabilitation services beyond the scope or skill of the athletic trainer.
- Engage in opportunities within the organization such as relationship building, clinic assistantship, program development, and interprofessional collaboration.
- Adhere to ethical standards of care and health information privacy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from a CAATE accredited institution in Athletic Training.
- NATA/BOC Certified.
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.
- CPR/AED certification.
