We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your expertise in bartending and knowledge of food handling will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, restocking as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food handling and safety standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a related food service role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers to process transactions efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations.
- Basic math skills for drink preparation measurements and cash management.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with brewing or banquet services is a plus but not required.
