As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy their dining experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or similar technology.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of orders and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food service operations within a restaurant or nightclub setting.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable for order management.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests.
