What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver - High ridge, Jefferson county position at Rockaway Home Care?
We are a Consumer Directed Services (CDS) provider in St. Louis dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities live independently. As a caregiver, you will assist clients in their daily activities under the CDS program where clients direct their own care.
Responsibilities:- Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Run errands, attend appointments, and assist with grocery shopping
- Monitor and report changes in client’s condition or needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Experience in caregiving preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work independently
- Must be at least 18 years old
