Student Technology Leadership Program Coordinator
Summary:
This is a Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) Coordinator position in the Rockcastle County School District.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's of Science degree and a Teaching Certificate. They should have knowledge and understanding of educational technology, successful experience in using technology in a P-12 school district, and strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The STLP Coordinator will support and implement the six STLP goals, which include developing activities that enhance academic, social, and emotional growth, providing leadership activities for all students, fostering multi-age collaboration, forming learning partnerships among students with various technology skills, developing activities that benefit communities, and integrating technology into the school's administrative and instructional programs.
The Coordinator will also be responsible for subscribing to the STLP listserv, publicizing the program throughout the school, recruiting students of different races, gender, and disabilities, setting up a system for student leaders, guiding students in creating projects, teaming with library media specialists and teachers, attending and leading students in competitions, participating in training sessions, and submitting an annual schedule of meeting dates.
