- Develop activities that enhance the academic, social, and emotional growth of students
- Provide leadership activities for all students, ensuring the STLP roster reflects the school's general population
- Foster multi-age collaboration through innovative learning partnerships
- Form learning partnerships among students with various technology skills
- Develop activities that benefit communities, forming partnerships within the school and with external agencies
- Subscribe to STLP listserv to stay updated on STLP activities and events
- Publicize the STLP program throughout the school using various channels
- Recruit students from diverse backgrounds to participate in the program
- Set up a system for student leaders to guide project development
- Guide students in creating instructional, community, and technical projects aligned with the six STLP goals
- Team with library media specialists, classroom teachers, and the Director of Technology to advance technology in the school
- Attend and lead students in competitions at regional and state STLP conferences
- Participate in district training sessions
- Submit an annual schedule of meeting dates and planned topics to the District STLP Coordinator
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools
