Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Automotive Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive technology, with a preference for experience in hybrid and electric vehicles. This role involves teaching students the fundamentals of automotive repair and maintenance, preparing them for careers in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum on automotive technology, including traditional, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
- Instruct students in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various vehicle systems.
- Utilize hands-on training and real-world scenarios to enhance student learning.
- Maintain and manage the automotive workshop, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and industry partners to provide students with comprehensive learning experiences.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Qualifications:
- A Certification, Associates or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on hybrid and electric vehicles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
