Position:
The Operations Analyst will service Rockefeller Advisor Teams with all operational aspects related to Alternative Investments including Transfers, Trades processing, capital calls, reconciliation, and documentation review. Analysts will communicate daily with our internal product team, our clearing firm (National Financial Services - NFS), as well as outside fund sponsors and administrators as necessary. In addition to Alternative Investments, this individual may also back up margin documentation processing in the NFS backend database as volumes dictate.
Responsibilities:
- Review documentation in regard to Transfers, Subscriptions, and Redemptions for completion and accuracy before submitting to NFS for processing.
- Support on-boarding events of Private Advisor teams with the transfer of Alternative Investments
- Liaise with NFS as well as the various fund sponsors regarding administrative issues and account activity.
- Partner with the technology as well as the product team to continuously enhance systems and processes.
- Responsible for review and monitoring of Alternative Investment account level documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years of experience in back-office Operations.
- General familiarity with Alternative Investment products.
- Experience working in a service capacity that requires balancing the unique business needs of financial advisors while ensuring Regulatory adherence.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build consensus across colleagues and key stakeholder groups.
- Highly motivated, self-starter that possesses the ability to work independently and has a desire to drive operational excellence
- Exceptional ability to multitask with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization of critical deadlines.
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal); exceptional interpersonal abilities, team player, works well across teams.
- Detailed working knowledge of MS Office Suite tools, especially MS Excel.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and exercise sound judgment and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience collaborating with colleagues to achieve a common goal.
