Position
The Associate Fiduciary Specialist and New Business Manager will be responsible for working with team members of the Rockefeller Trust Companies in reviewing trusts, wills and other contractual documents in connection with the inter-generational transfer of wealth. This role is a key member of the collaborative, team-centric approach to client servicing across the Global Family Office division and participating in business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing fiduciary relationships and apply knowledge of fiduciary and estate planning strategies to benefit current and prospective clients
- Support Senior Trust and Estate Advisor in managing day-to-day legal questions in connection with fiduciary accounts, particularly as they may relate to Delaware trust law.
- Draft internal documents such as direction letters and trust summaries and assist Trust Officers in answering legal questions pertaining to trust administration.
- Oversee onboarding process including, but not limited to, the collection of KYC/AML information and due diligence processes in the pre-approval stage of onboarding trust accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- JD required/LLM preferred
- Previous experience working with Delaware trusts
- 5 years of experience in trust servicing and administration

- Pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys educating advisors
- Excellent communication skills on complex matters, both written and oral
- Extensive knowledge of the trust and estate business
