Position
The Trade Operations Team has full day-to-day ownership and responsibility for trade lifecycle event processing, as well as monitoring market risk and compliance risk exposures on an intraday basis. Trade Operations coordinate across Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Accounting, and IT to investigate and resolve trade support issues spanning the interrelationships between transaction economics, policy guidelines, and software functionality. This team also has broad insight across Capital Markets products, trade capture with the responsibility to successfully execute related processes and controls.
Additional responsibilities may include all or some of the following: the team is responsible for ensuring accuracy of trade capture, affirmation/confirmation, fail management, life cycle event processing, counterparty engagement, etc. Individuals in these roles are client-facing and successful individuals are expected to engage in a high level of collaboration across the firm.

- College graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in equity settlements or in back-office operations.
- Familiar with Financial Systems a plus, i.e., Omgeo, Bloomberg, on-line portals.
- Experience with Custodial platforms, NFS a plus.
- Individuals should be equally proficient working in a team environment or as an individual contributor.
- Goals driven with team success as a priority.
- Eager to learn, work with a sense of urgency & multi-tasking
- Willing to work extended hours and flexible to change.
- Individuals must be extremely thorough, detail-oriented, organized, able to learn quickly and handle volume under pressure.
