Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a UX Designer with Secret Clearance or higher, who possesses the right balance of creativity and analytical skills to help solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges.

We are a small company, and your work will have a direct impact on the success of our business. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive.
This is a hybrid role based in the Denver metro area, which can have frequent onsite client work. While some of the work will be remote, team members are not permitted to take Rocket-issued devices outside the United States, or work on client related content while outside the United States.
Due to our work with the government, we’re seeking a designer with Secret Clearance or higher.
The intended start date is early Spring 2025.
- You have 3 years of experience in UX/UI Design.
- You are a lifelong learner with the ability to learn complex knowledge quickly.
- You have experience in complex app design.
- You thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.
- You have the ability to communicate design decisions, and are proficient at delivering design specs that can be understood and executed by developers.
- You have a portfolio of your work and can discuss your design process during your interview
- You are fearless in taking on new challenges.
- You have the courage to ask questions when you’re lost in conversations with really smart experts (we’re talking Rocket Scientists).
- You live in the Denver area and are willing to regularly work onsite for clients.
- You have a Secret Clearance or higher.
- Due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies US Citizenship is required- you must be able to maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Experience working with Jira or another Agile software
- Experience working on a remote team
- Experience working with Figma
- Understanding of government and enterprise work
Salary : $81,000 - $110,000
