2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm)
Position Summary: As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various aspects of our facilities, ensuring they remain in optimal condition. Your role will involve performing preventive maintenance, responding to repair requests, and supporting general operations to meet our organizational needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Execute routine maintenance tasks and respond promptly to repair requests for facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Facilities Support: Perform tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing doors, replacing floor tiles, and cleaning A/C vents to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Equipment Installation: Assist with the installation of equipment, whiteboards, shelving, and other facility-related fixtures.
- Minor Plumbing and Electrical Work: Conduct minor plumbing repairs and assist with electrical tasks under supervision.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairs.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and external contractors as needed to support facility operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and working on ladders.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols (e.g., SOPs).
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
