What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - Stockroom position at Rocket EMS?
Job Responsibilities:
· Pulls items from the inventory to issue to requirements specified on kit list
· Expedites materials to fill shortages for orders and facilitates movement of critical parts and RMAs
· Processes returned items and unscheduled issues.
· Utilizes the functions of the warehouse management system to perform daily tasks. Including data entry
· Performs scheduled cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliations
· Handles and stores inventory items to the appropriate inventory locations
· Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that work area remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
· Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules.
Education & Experience:
- Should possess High School diploma or GED Certificate, or a combination of work experience suitable for this position
Skills:
- Should possess good working knowledge of warehouse operations in an electronic manufacturing environment
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Ability to use counting equipment or apparatus
- Should be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory
- Must be able to read, write and speak English well enough to effectively accomplish the job
- Proficiency in inventory software, database and systems – MANEX / Voyager a plus
