We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Lead Operator to join our team at Rocket Farms, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting machine operators and skilled maintenance teams with training, troubleshooting, adjusting, moving, operating, and evaluating automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Machine Lead Operator will be responsible for:
- Safely and efficiently operating various machines, including trimming machines, potting machines, bale buster machines, elle-pot machines, seeding machines, spacing robots, sticking robots, automatic sorting/grading systems, watering tunnels, sleeving machines, and boxing machines.
- Monitoring machine operators' productivity and ensuring appropriate documentation is conducted on a daily basis.
- Maintaining a clean working area in food production areas.
- Supervising employees assisting in machine process to ensure safe practices and quality/production standards are met.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals pertinent to machinery.
- 2 years of experience working with equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and verbal.
- BASIC MATH (addition, subtraction & division) required.
