Job Description
- Rocket Hearing & Balance is seeking a curious, resourceful, and compassionate audiologist to serve patients in our private practice setting.
- The candidate will provide full-range diagnostic audiological and vestibular services to patients of all ages.
- The ideal candidate will be motivated to advance into a senior role within 3 years.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide care for patients with ear, hearing, balance, and other related conditions.
- Perform wide range of testing, including comprehensive audiological evaluation, comprehensive vestibular evaluation, and electrophysiology.
- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnosis.
- Provide counseling regarding diagnostic findings and discuss the best course of treatment, taking the patient's needs and concerns into consideration.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids and supportive devices as appropriate.
- Educate patients on appropriate hearing hygiene.
- Stay informed on current research and potential treatment for hearing and balance disorders.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals as needed.
- Follow all medical laws, ethical guidelines, regulations, and standards.
Qualified candidate will possess:
- Doctorate or Master's in Audiology.
- Active audiology license in Maryland.
- Relevant experience as a practicing Audiologist.
- Strong interest in developing vestibular and electrophysiology skills.
- An honest, optimistic, and compassionate character.
