About the Role
You'll bring to the role a passion for building secure, robust, and high performance distributed systems. The ideal candidate will be a top-notch Linux expert with a devops focus and experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments. In addition to participating in the ongoing evolution of our server and network environments, you will be part of our Tier 1 site support staff.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the adoption of public cloud technologies, optimizing our architecture and practices to make best use of cloud technologies and patterns
- Participate in evolving our build, deployment, and release management practices towards a continuous integration / continuous deployment model
- Work closely with development teams ensuring collaboration within technology team in supporting and improving CI / CD
- Collaborate with the product development team to continuously improve customer experience through increases in performance and reliability
- Thoroughly understand the performance of our customer-facing site through monitoring and data-driven analysis
- Apply infrastructure-as-code patterns to increase the reliability and predictability of our services
- Architect infrastructure and application monitoring and log analysis frameworks to provide deep visibility into our Java-based application stack
- Part of the distributed on-call team responsible for the health of a 24 / 7 production hosted environment
- Systems automation to enhance developer productivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.
- Advise the product development team on architectural choices as a technical advocate for excellent customer experience

Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process.
