About The Role
- Collaborate with internal and external parties regarding loan level payments and bankruptcies
- Audit loan level details to ensure compliance with state and federal laws
- Contribute insights regarding processes and help identify efficiency gains
- Obtain and review bankruptcy documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Ensure team processes and communications are efficient and compliant with servicing agreements and federal and state laws
- Identify and escalate high-risk or complex loans to the appropriate team members
- Create bankruptcy payment histories
- Assist with creating and maintaining process and training documentation for the team
- Meet monthly minimum production goals
- Ensure accurate and timely application of funds for bankruptcy cases
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience or equivalent competency supporting mortgage servicing or bankruptcies
- Knowledge of industry standard bankruptcy tools
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience analyzing and manipulating data in spreadsheets
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Experience using data to solve problems, including root cause analysis and process improvement
