Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and be proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions
- Upsell products and services
- Assist customers in locating items
- Manage exchanges and returns
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Experience in customer service is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with technology sales or wireless sales is advantageous
- Ability to stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
