Position Description
Rockford High School is currently accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE English / Language Arts Teacher, for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates must be able to provide students with rigorous and relevant course content while developing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Rockford High School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school for the Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career Programme (CP). AVID, coaching, and advising opportunities are available.
The Rockford Area Schools enjoy the small school setting with around 1550 students in grades K-12 (500 HS students), and provides challenging opportunities for students as a certified International Baccalaureate IB school. The High School provides college level coursework and career pathway options for students. Our students are highly motivated and often participate in multiple activities which keep them engaged and committed to the school and community.
Education and Experience
Appropriate Minnesota teaching license required. International Baccalaureate (IB) and AVID experience preferred.
An appropriate license issued by the State of Minnesota is required.
