Work Hours: School Days, Full Time, 7 Hours per Day
Starting Wage Range: $18.58 - $20.20 based on experience

Instructional Para Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge/experience of Response to Intervention program.
Knowledge/experience of D.I.B.E.L.S.
Awareness of varied and innovative delivery systems that promote and achieve high standards
Ability to communicate well at various levels with students, parents, and school personnel
Ability to work collaboratively in both large and small group instruction
Proficient in the use of computers/technology in the teaching setting
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently
Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish (Desired)
High School Diploma or GED and Two Year Associates Degree or Parapro Praxis Test
Valid Teaching certificate (desired)
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust/focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate. Work is performed indoors although there will be required outdoor activities. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.
Mental Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing in the English language, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, and compile and negotiate.
