Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires proficiency in driving various types of vehicles, including box trucks, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes to deliver packages and documents efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Navigate through traffic and follow designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality before each trip.
• Assist in moving heavy items as needed, demonstrating physical capability for lifting and transporting goods.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Courier or Delivery Driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience in route driving, commercial driving, or moving services is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.

Pay: $20.67 - $21.44 per hour
