Rockford University seeks talented nursing clinical adjunct faculty who are passionate about providing teaching and learning for the next generation of nurses. Essential Job Functions:
Nursing clinical adjunct faculty provide expertise in clinical instruction in the hospital or community settings with pre-licensure BSN students. Available clinical assignments may include the following nursing courses:
· Fundamentals of Nursing
· Pediatrics
· Maternal Health/OB
· Mental and Community Health
· Adult Med/Surg
Required Job Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Nursing, or within one year of completion of the MSN.
· Equivalent of two (2) years full-time work in clinical practice in respective discipline.
· Current licensure as an RN in the state of Illinois.
· Current CPR and immunizations.
Preferred qualifications:
Teaching or professional development experience is preferred but not required.

Adjunct faculty are eligible after one year of employment for tuition remission at Rockford University up to six credit hours per year for themselves, their partner, and direct dependents. Compensation is $1881 for two credits; $3762 for four credits per semester.
