Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Utilize CAD software such as MetaCam, SolidWorks, 3D to create precise 2D and 3D drawings.
- Develop schematics and layouts for various projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and provide input on feasibility.
- Prepare detailed documentation to accompany drawings, including material specifications and assembly instructions.
- Conduct revisions of existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions related to drafting tasks.
- Ensure all drafts are completed within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software including MetaCam, SolidWorks
- Experience in drafting technical drawings for construction or manufacturing projects.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and modifications.
