Delivery Driver $up to 21.00 per hour

Summary: Responsible for completing medication deliveries to clients of a long-term-care pharmacy. Local Family-owned company looking to hire delivery drivers to deliver medications to long term care facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Organizes medications and delivery sheets for delivery. Organizes and prepares medications for delivery to facilities located throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and surrounding communities.

· Obtains proper signature upon delivery. Obtains staff signature for proof of delivery on both paper and electronic invoice (phone app).

· Scan delivery sheets into software upon return to pharmacy. Upon return to the pharmacy driver will appropriately file all invoices and notify pharmacist of any items that could not be delivered and need to be rerouted.

· Maintains neatness and cleanliness of company vehicle(s). Company will provide the delivery vehicle. Driver will maintain the vehicle by keeping the interior and exterior clean and will report any maintenance concerns to their Delivery Supervisor. Company provides all fuel and carwash expenses.

· Operates company owned vehicle(s), in a safe and effective manner and in compliance with company policy. Driver will operate company vehicles in a safe manner and in compliance with company policy paying special attention to safety regulations.

· Reports all injuries and occupational related illnesses immediately to management.

· Reports any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management. Driver will report any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management and will attend any scheduled training sessions as needed.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with hands and arms, talk, see or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly operate a company vehicle driving 200-250 miles per day in an eight-hour shift.

We currently have a part-time positions available. Some days may be shorter or longer depending on the volume of deliveries. Part-time is available for days from11am-4pm or evenings 4:30PM until 8:30Pm. Saturdays required. Pay starts at $18.00/hour
