Rockhurst University’s Department of Physical Therapy and Exercise Science invites qualified applicants with knowledge and experience in a specialty area of practice to apply for a 9-month or 11-month tenure track physical therapy faculty position. Teaching, scholarship, and service expectations are dependent upon applicant experience and background.

Required qualifications:
- Possession of a terminal academic degree (e.g., Ph.D., EdD, DSci, DHSci) at the time of appointment with clinical expertise in an area of practice
- Experience teaching in a physical therapy or physical therapist assistant program (adjunct and/or core)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Eligible for or currently possessing Missouri PT license
Recommended qualifications:
- Board Certified Clinical Specialist through American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
- Record of scholarship and a defined scholarly agenda
- Record of service to the profession or community
- Commitment to interprofessional collaboration
- Commitment to developing outstanding physical therapists who are ethical, inclusive, competent and compassionate professionals
