Reports To: Director of Operations
Work: 10- 25 hours/ week during the busy season. May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.

Position Summary: The housekeeper is responsible for assisting current cleaning staff with maintaining cleanliness of properties. This position requires ensuring the work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining safety standards by utilizing cleaning lists and checklists.
Major Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, grand hall, grand hall bathrooms, salon and office, two rental properties, and all cleaning before and after events.
- Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, and developing hourly Housekeeping staff.
- In charge of planning, organizing, and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
- Clean venue, kitchen, and bathrooms before and after all events.
- Deep clean rental properties before and after guests check-in and out.
- Deep clean office monthly.
- Responsible for organizing cleaning staff for turnaround events or rental check-ins.
- Maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
- Conduct inspections of rental houses and all other cleaning areas.
- Recruit, schedule, and train all new housekeeping staff members.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the housekeeping department.
- Determine and maintain the department work schedule used to notify staff of upcoming events and ensure proper preparation and staffing for each event.
- Develop cleaning lists and checklists.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Able to have a flexible schedule and add last-minute cleanings.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Walks and stands during the entire shift.
- Life and empty trashcans weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
- Work indoors 80%; outdoors 20%.
- Hazards include, but not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, cleaning chemicals, burns, slipping and tripping.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to read labels on chemicals.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Must be able to read and follow instructions.
- Listening and communication skills are required.
- The ability to work as a team.
- The ability to follow and complete instructions in a timely manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
