What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ski Instructor position at Rocking Horse Ranch Resort?
Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking talented and personable Ski Instructors. Your responsibility will be to introduce skiing to guests of all ages, while maintaining the Rocking Horse standard of hospitality and professionalism. This is a seasonal position beginning mid December, and is tipped.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily routine for set up and break down of the ski hill area
- Provide a safe and fun learning environment for beginner skiers
- Proactively address guest needs and inquiries with a sense of urgency
- Work in other positions throughout our Winter Fun Park as needed, such as the Ski Shop or Snow Tubing Hill
Qualifications:
- Must possess advanced ski skills, including the ability to ski backwards
- Strong work ethic, adept at multitasking, and a true team player
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and carry or lift objects weighing 50 lbs
